A guide to registering on the Hellios SME Portal

Updated over a week ago

The Hellios SME Portal was created in collaboration with the JOSCAR Governance Group members in response to the Ministry of Defence’s SME Action Plan. Its purpose is to improve the visibility of SMEs to buyers across the defence, aerospace and security sectors. See more information on the Hellios SME Portal.

This registration is for SMEs that are based in the United Kingdom only. See the UK definition of an SME here. You do not need to complete this registration if your company is already registered on JOSCAR.

You can register your company on the SME Portal here.

Create an account by clicking 'Sign Up', then entering your email address and creating a password. You will then be asked to enter a verification code which will be emailed to you, so make sure you have access to your email when registering.

Once you have verified and logged in to your account, you will see the SME Portal registration form. Complete all of the questions and select the products/services that your company provides from the list. If you cannot see an exact match for the products/services that your company provides, please select the closest option.

When you have completed the questions, click 'Save Changes'. You will then see a message thanking you for registering and confirming that your registration is complete.

Please note that once submitted you are currently not able to edit the information. However this will be available at a later date.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us, and reference that you are completing the SME Portal registration.
